UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)
It is the premier recruiting agency for the Government of India. UPSC is responsible for recruiting candidates for the All India Services, Central Services and Cadres, as well as the Armed Forces of the Union of India.
Some of the services for which the UPSC recruits candidates are the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Revenue Service, etc.UPSC conducts a National Level Exam for 24 services under the Central & State Government of India.
IAS or the Indian Administrative Service is one of the three All India Services. The other two being Indian Police Service (IPS) and IFoS (Indian Forest Service).
